Knowing how my buddies shoot their bow this is a Great addition to protect the chronograph I puchased.
This is no-brainer for anyone who owns a Garmin chronograph. If you’re doing ballistic testing and/or archery testing, you don’t want to waste $500 or more by skimping out on a quality product that will protect it.
Well, this thing is sturdy... tempted to shoot it just to give it character, but I'm pretty sure this thing will stop most anything you shoot at it. Mostly using it for archery and I have no doubt my garmin is safe. Worth the price for how much you spend on the chrono itself. Just buy one and be worry free, especially those long distance shots where the chrono itself is in the line of sight of the target.
The shield and mount for the Garmin is a great investment. Works very well and takes the edge off of aiming directly at your $400 chrono downrange. You’ll need a sturdy tripod to support the weight, so don’t go with a cheap flimsy one off Amazon.
Absolutely amazing piece. Gives me peace of mind when launching arrows at a $500 chronograph down range.
